AI comment moderation for WordPress.
Respectify analyses every comment before it's published — catching bad-faith posts, dog whistles, and spam, and coaching commenters toward better ones. Install the plugin, add your API key, done.
Respectify vs. default WordPress moderation
WordPress can hold comments for review. Respectify reads context and intent — and teaches commenters why a comment didn't land.

Why WordPress sites choose Respectify
Moderation + education
Instead of just holding or deleting a comment, Respectify explains what's wrong and lets the commenter edit and resubmit — quietly coaching better discussion over time.
Keeps comments relevant
Want comments to stay about the post they're on? Respectify reads context and intent, not just a keyword blacklist, so off-topic noise never reaches your readers.
Catches dog whistles
Coded language that reads as harmless to most people but means something else to certain groups. Tell Respectify what to disallow for your site, topics, and audience.
Smarter spam protection
No blacklists or captchas. Respectify uses context and intent to catch sophisticated spam while letting genuine comments through without hassle.
Live in four steps
No code required — install, add a key, pick your checks.

Frequently asked questions
Which WordPress versions are supported?
WordPress 6.6 or higher and PHP 8.0 or higher. The plugin is available directly in the WordPress plugin directory.
Does it replace Akismet?
Respectify takes a different, context-aware approach to spam — no blacklists or captchas — so it can stand in for or run alongside your existing spam tooling.
Where do comments get analysed?
Before they're published. When a comment shows a common bad-faith pattern, Respectify shows feedback and lets the commenter edit, rather than silently deleting it.
How much does it cost?
The plugin is free. Respectify is a usage-based service billed per comment, with top-ups starting at $5 and optional auto-topup. No monthly subscription.
Is the plugin open source?
Yes. The plugin code is on GitHub and it uses the open Respectify PHP SDK, with full API documentation at docs.respectify.ai.
